Black Narcissus

A group of nuns, led by Sister Clodagh, are sent into a mountain in the Himalayas. The climate within the region is hostile and the nuns are housed in a odd old palace. Their focus shifts, although they work to set a school and a hospital. Sister Ruth falls for a police employee, Mr. Dean, also begins to wonder her vow of celibacy. As Sister Ruth obsesses over Mr. Dean, Sister Clodagh becomes chilled in her own memories of love.
