Burlesque

The Burlesque Lounge has its best days behind it. Tess, a dancer and owner of this venue, struggles to preserve the theatre facing a myriad of aesthetic and financial challenges. The good fortune seems to have abandoned the club altogether Together with the troupe members of all the Lounge becoming distracted by personal issues and a threat coming from a wealthy business man's quest to buy the spot from Tess. Meanwhile, the entire life of Ali, a small-town girl from Iowa, is going to improve. Hired by Tess at the Lounge Being a waitress, a past is escaped by Ali and immediately falls in love with the artwork of burlesque. Backed by friends between the theater's crew, she manages to satisfy her dreams of being on stage herself. Things take a dramatic twist though when Ali's enormous voice leaves her become the main allure of this place.
