Class of 1999

In the future, gang violence is so bad among young people that the areas around some schools have turned into "free-fire zones" where not even the police will go. When Miles Langford, the principal of Kennedy High School, decides to take the school back from the gangs, Dr. Robert Forrest, an expert in robotics, helps him with "tactical education units." These robots look and act so much like people that it's hard to believe they're not real. They've been programmed to teach and given brutally effective ways to deal with discipline problems. So, when the violent, out-of-control Kennedy High students show up for class tomorrow, they'll get a real education... in how to stay alive!
