Dane 'Marbles' Marbeck is able to see ghosts thanks to a home-made drug that combines his late father's neurological medication with marijuana. Officer Jayson Tagg, a burgeoning supercop on the hunt for a serial killer, is assassinated. When Marbles' mother decides to sell the family farm, the only way to buy it from her is to accept the money offered by Tagg in exchange for his assistance. While navigating their way through ghouls, perverts, a mysterious hooded figure, and an unexpected shot at love, the unlikely duo of stoner medium and ghost cop struggle to reconcile their differences. Marbles and Tagg must confront their deepest regrets and overcome their prejudices if they are to solve the case with their souls intact.
