Kaitlyn, an ER nurse, is electrocuted by the defibrillator that was used to save the woman's life. Kaitlyn begins to recall the victim's memories almost instantly. She goes to her family, friends, and the cops for help, but no one believes her. She concludes that she must try to solve the murder on her own, or risk her own sanity being jeopardized by the horrific images. Kaitlyn eventually links up with the case's detective and works her way through the victim's past, uncovering not only the horrific reality, but also some surprising lessons about life, love, sadness, and forgiveness along the way.
