After Lao Shen's passing, the once-dominant LIONS team began a slow but steady slide that has continued to this day. Li Yi Fei was unwilling to resign, and he and his new partner, Lu Li li, who was the first female driver in the history of the league, could not get along. The two drivers refused to give in to each other, which made the situation for the team even more difficult. Ah Shen, the second-generation new team captain, is pessimistic about the team's chances, therefore he has to put all of his faith on Du Jie Ke, an otaku who is only good at playing racing simulators. Since Du Jie Ke has never engaged in real-world combat, he lacks the physical capacity to take part in the competition; yet, he continues to put in significant effort in an attempt to catch up to Lily. When Li Yi Fei was confronted with his poor racing performance and the concerns of his family, he made the decision to step back into the shadows and let Lily and Du Jie Ke to build a new alliance. Outside of the Lions team, there is a formidable adversary named Song Jie, and there are disagreements and issues that need to be resolved. During the intense conflict, they were able to rediscover their initial goals and objectives.
