The Man Standing Next
In the 1970s, Korea is completely under the control of President Park, who also controls the KCIA, an organization that has an advantage over any branch of government. KIM Gyu-pyeong, the director of KCIA, appears to be the most promising second in charge. PARK Yong-gak, a former KCIA director who knows all about the government's shadowy operations, is exiled to the United States, where the 'Koreagate' inquiry is underway. As the tension rises, all second-in-commands engage in suffocating political maneuvering.
