The Tuskegee Airmen
During the 2nd World War, a project is begun by the United States Army Air Corps to Incorporate African American pilots into the Fighter Pilot System. Known as the"Tuskegee Airman" to its name of the airbase of which they were trained, those men were forced to constantly endure harassment, bias, and far behindthescenes politics until eventually they could prove themselves in conflict.
