A story about a person that, against all possibilities and challenges, struggles for acceptance and love also on her place in the world. The show focuses around a young girl in the late 1890's, that, after a abusive childhood spent in orphanages along with strangers' homes, is sent to live with an older woman and her brother. Over time, 13-year-old Anne will transform the little town by which they live with ferocious wisdom, her soul and brilliant imagination and eventually their lives.
