Asylum
Asylum can be a comedy series that was displayed on Paramount Comedy Channel in 1996. Set in a mental asylum, it ran for one series of six episodes. Unlike conventional sitcoms or humor television shows, it turned out to a point an opportunity for routines by comedians, mixed with an overall story involving humour. It is significant for between a large numbers of British comedians, those who've gone onto work with some of the decade's humor programmes. It marked the first collaboration of Jessica Stevenson, Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, who would move onto earn cult sitcom Spaced. A number of the characters names were the same as the ones of the actors that portrayed them.
David Devant & His Spirit Wife were the"house band" for the string, performing segments in every incident, from their very first record, Work, Lovelife, Miscellaneous. The lead in track"Ginger" served while the programme's name songs.
