Cosmos: Possible Worlds
This is an American science documentary TV show that premiered on National Geographic on March 9, 2020. The series is a follow-up to the 2014 TV show Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, which in turn was a follow-up to the 1980 PBS show Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, which Carl Sagan hosted. Neil deGrasse Tyson, an astrophysicist, hosts the show. Ann Druyan and Brannon Braga wrote, directed, and executive-produced the show. Seth MacFarlane and Jason Clark also worked on the show as executive producers. The show has 13 episodes, which were shown over the course of seven weeks. The first episode of the show was shown on Fox on September 22, 2020. Braga says, "Possible Worlds isn't just about planets in the far, far future; it's also about the future as a possible world."
