Family Feud
Family Feud is an American game show in which two families compete to name the answers to a survey question. Mark Goodson and Bill Todman made the show in the United States, now airs in local formats.
Since its premiere in 1976, Family Feud has aired throughout 30 non-consecutive seasons. The show premiered on ABC and has been hosted by Richard Dawson in 1976 before it was cancelled in 1985, by which point it had been widely popular and from syndication. The series was restored by CBS in 1988 using Ray Combs hosting along with also enlarged to an hour-long format in 1992. On the series that was corresponding was hosted by combs before 1994, when he was replaced by Dawson for a single season, which also enlarged to an hour-long format before being stranded in 1995. Later versions were hosted Richard Karn, by Louie Anderson, along with John O'Hurley. Since the 2010--1 1 tv season, comedian/actor Steve Harvey has hosted Family Feud.
The ratings of the show were thought to possess improved under Harvey. Family Feud's ratings were thought to have improved the whole 40. During the 2011--12 season, the fast-rising game show averaged a 4.0 and became the 5th highest rated show in every syndication. As of this 2012--1-3 season, Family Feud has regularly become the second highest rated show in all daytime television programming. In 2013, TV Guide ranked it #3 in its own list of the 60 greatest game shows ever.
