Is it possible for a young woman to demonstrate her allegiance to both her family and her country? Lan Yan Zhi is the daughter of a wealthy banker in Shanghai, and she is also a student activist. In 1937, she makes the unfortunate discovery that she is in possession of a letter written by the Japanese Army. Zhou Yu Hao, an honorable officer in the Chinese Army and the person she has a crush on, thinks she is a spy because of a misunderstanding. In order to demonstrate that she is not guilty, Yan Zhi gives in to Yu Hao's demands that she break into the house of her best friend, Feng Man Na, and assist him in his search for the elusive "Mister Traitor." But what will Yan Zhi do if the investigation turns out one of her own relatives?
