Ellie is really a 27-year older whose life is far from where she's envisioned it to become. Filled with annoying friends, a boyfriend, and a livelihood that she can not bring herself to chase, Ellie feels detached from her life. Her world is disrupted when she learns that her estranged alcoholic father has died and she begins a journey which takes her to a tiny town in Texas. While managing the arrangements of the death of her father Ellie needs to face what goes on when the structures and security loopholes we build for ourselves come reversed.
