American Revolution 2
American Revolution 2 begins with footage of the 1968 Democratic Convention protests and the CPD and National Guard's response. Investigating the paucity of African Americans at the protests, the filmmakers follow Chicago BPP members as they seek common ground with white activist groups. In one scenario, Panther Bobby Lee and the Young Patriots, white Appalachian activists in Uptown Chicago, protest police violence. The groups establish social and political goals that overcome racial differences: police violence, poverty, unemployment, and terrible living circumstances. The movie's dream is a cross-racial and interethnic political movement.
