After a card game Southerner Owen Pentecost finds himself the owner of a Denver resort. Entailed with 2 women - one who included the resort, and one newly arrived from the East to open a dress shop - he after that has to make extra basic options when, with the start of the Civil Battle, he turns into one of a little minority in a highly Unionist town.
