She Wore a Yellow Ribbon
Everyone expects the worst after Custer and the 7th Cavalry are damaged by Indians. Capt. Nathan Brittles is ordered out on patrol but he's also expected to shoot along Abby Allshardhis spouse of the Fort's commanding officer, and her niece, the pretty Olivia Dandridge, who are increasingly now being evacuated to their safety. Brittles is just a few days away from retirement and Olivia gets captured the eye of a couple of the young officers within the Company, Lt. Flint Cohill and 2 nd Lt. Ross Pennell. She has taken to wearing a purple ribbon in her hair, a sign she has a beau at the Cavalry, but refuses to say whom she's currently wearing it.
