Jean, a wealthy industrialist in Paris in the late Sixties, enjoys a jet-set lifestyle. With his wife, Danielle, things aren't going so well. When he meets Nicole, their new next-door neighbor, they fall in love. It's Klaus, her nasty ex-boyfriend who keeps popping up in her life. There quickly comes to light that Danielle and Nicole are plotting to kill Jean, with Klaus being the hitman.
