As a writer named Mike tries to get his semi-autobiographical sitcom developed, a controlling network executive named Lenny, who prefers trashy reality TV, slowly erodes his vision. The irony, of course, is that every vulgar proposal Lenny makes increases the show's test audience response and takes it one step closer to airing.
