The Wind in the Willows
Mole decides to neglect spring cleaning and goes on adventures with Rat. They go on a caravan picnic with Toad until he gets a new automobile and starts driving recklessly, prompting Mole and Rat to seek Badger's help. The magistrate sentences Toad to 20 years for theft, reckless driving, and gross impertinence. Badger gets seriously battered while trying to protect Toad Hall from the Weasels while Toad seduces the jailer's daughter and escapes as a washerwoman. Retaking Toad Hall takes a plan and all four allies.
