American Yakuza

When Nick Davis is released from prison after a year of solitude, he is hired to operate a forklift in a warehouse in the harbor owned by Japanese Yakuza patriarch Isshin Tendo. The location is attacked by the Italian Mafia, led by Dino Campanela, and Nick rescues and saves the life of Shuji Sawamoto, the representative of Yakuza interests in America. Shuji hires Nick to work for the Yakuza and becomes his godfather in the family following his oath to join the Yakuza. However, Nick is a lonely FBI undercover agent assigned to infiltrate the criminal organization. When the FBI discovers that Campanela is planning a massive attack to destroy the Yakuza, Nick's boss Littman cancels the operation, leaving the dirty work to the Italian Mafia. However, Nick's relationship with Shuji and his goddaughter Yuko compel him to assist his Japanese family.
