Armadillo
ARMADILLO is a account of cynicism and adrenaline dependency for young soldiers at war. Daniel and mads are about the first assignment in Helmand, Afghanistan. Their platoon is headquartered at Camp Armadillo fighting with battles that were tough against the Taliban. The soldiers are not there to help the Afghan people, but as fighting gets tougher and surgeries increasingly hairy, Mads, Daniel and their pals become cynical, widening the difference between themselves and the Afghan civilisation. Mistrust and paranoia occur causing alienation and disillusion. Armadillo staged in Afghanistan in its own version and a special picture on the mythological narrative of war and man, can be a travel into the soldier's mind.
