Bullets Over Broadway

Set in 1920s New York City, this picture tells the story of idealistic young playwright David Shayne. Producer Julian Marx finally finds funding for the project by gangster Nick Valenti. The catch is that the girlfriend Olive Neal of Nick gets a psychiatrist's part, and Olive can be really a bimbo who could never pass for a psychologist as well as being truly a dreadful actress. Agreeing for the undermine is the first measure to the complete seduction of David, that fails partner Ellen of Broadway. David puts up with Warner Purcell, the top man who's Cheech, Olive hit man / bodyguard, Helen Sinclair along with really just a compulsive eater. Finally, the playwright must decide whether art or life is crucial.
