Inocencio Prieto y Calvo receives a letter saying he's the heir to his uncle's $2 million. He can't read so he doesn't know who sent or what the letter says. He goes to the pharmacy so the pharmacist can read him the letter. He finds a young girl reading while waiting for rescue. He feels he can figure out the letter's content on his own, so he saves it, goes to school, and reads it later.
