Happy Hong Kong Playboy Barber Chan opens a fashionable new salon right next to an old-fashioned Shanhainese barber shop. Chuk, the company's owner, is enraged by this development and begins a fight with Chan and his colleagues during the opening ceremony of his new venture. Ying, Chuk's lovely daughter, is forced to keep the peace. Chan and his friends all try to woo Ying but end up getting drunk and sleeping in her room. Later, Ying discovers she is pregnant, but no one knows which of the trio did it. Chan and his friends try to do the right thing by banding together during her pregnancy until the true identity of the father is determined. When the baby is born, it is discovered that all of the prospective fathers have the same blood type, causing even more confusion.
