Horrors of Malformed Men

Hirosuke (Teruo Yoshida) , a health care student with hardly any recollection of his past, is trapped in an asylum, despite being absolutely sane. After escaping from the loonybin, and being dressed for the murder of a star girl, he spots the photo Genzaburo Komoda, of a recently deceased man, to. By pretending to have already been Hirosuke supposes the dead man's individuality, fooling everyone else, including Komoda's widow and mistress. Whilst at the Komoda household, Hirosuke recalls memories which convince him to go to a nearby island, home of Jogoro. Whilst on the island, Hirosuke not just finds Jogoro's plans to construct his own'ideal community' (by transforming absolutely normal humans into hideous freaks), but in addition the awful truth behind their own identity.
