Lots of Kids, a Monkey and a Castle
Julita's three greatest aspirations were expressed shortly after her marriage: a large family, a monkey, and a palace to call her own. All of these aspirations have come true because to the tenacity of this charming and equally amusing grandmother, who has a penchant for collecting oddities. When the family's castle must be sold due to financial constraints, her adult children are left to dig through a lifetime of oddities in search of a few missing bones... Gustavo Salmerón, a Spanish actor and neo-realist director, creates a delightfully ludicrous family picture that also manages to convey a lot about Spain, Catholicism, and the current economic crisis.
