Sworn Brothers
In the gripping triad saga Sworn Brothers, stars Andy Lau and Cheung Kwok Keung play brothers who are brave and bloody. Lau (Andy Lau) is a rising enforcer for the triads, but he is also the sworn brother of Cheung (Cheung Kwok Keung), a Royal Hong Kong Police officer who just got back from Scotland Yard. The two men are on different sides of the law, but they still have a strong friendship that can't be broken by time or different ideas. Can the brotherhood of these two good men make the underworld a better place? Sworn Brothers is a standout triad action-drama in a genre with a lot of similar movies. Tung Piu, who has been in Jackie Chan's Police Story movies, plays a compelling role as a corrupt cop, and the movie is full of exciting action scenes. With strong melodrama and the kind of heightened emotions that were common in popular Hong Kong movies in the 1980s, Sworn Brothers hits the action-drama bullseye in a fun and bloody way!
