The Beast And The Beauty

The film The Beast and the Beauty (Yasuwa minyeo) was released in South Korea in 2005. It centers on voice actor Dong-gun (Ryu Seung-beom), whose blind girlfriend Hae-ju (Shin Min-a) undergoes surgery to restore her vision. After lying to Hae-ju about his appearance, the hideous Dong-gun decides to go to great lengths to alter his appearance, promising Hae-ju that he will return soon. Meanwhile, Hae-ju meets Joon-ha (Kim Kang-woo), Dong-high gun's school classmate whose appearance is similar to Dong-description gun's of himself to Hae-ju, and misidentifies him as Dong-gun. Dong-gun struggles to hold on to the affection of the woman he loves, which leads to hilarity.
