The Goob

We're at the middle of a heat-wave at Fenland England. Goob Taylor has spent his sixteen summers each helping Mum run crop and also the transport cafe the surrounding beet areas. When Mum shacks up with swarthy supremo and ladies' man gene Womack, Goob becomes an unwanted thought. Out when exotic beet picker Eva takes place Goob's world turns. Fuelled by her hurtful remarks, Goob dreams of better stuff.
