The Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists

Littlefoot and the gang meet a shy newcomer, Ali, but the pleasantries stop there. There is a dire environmental theme to this sequel in the series, where the planet's weather affects beyond the Great Valley, and that which have been dry soil is now a"property of mists." The shift brings new animals who push out older inhabitants, and Littlefoot finds these revolutionary changes for himself if he has to venture in the region to find a medicinal blossom for his ailing grandfather. While the animation is slow and comprised the way direct-to-video cartoon releases often are, the story is sound and the now-familiar characters are all memorable.
