The Wild Child
In 1798, a feral boy has been discovered beyond the town of Aveyron, France. Diagnosed as impaired, he's relegated to an asylum. A doctor called Jean Itard, who focuses primarily on the instruction of deaf-mutes and also physiology, becomes convinced that the boy gets ordinary mental capacity, but his development was hindered by insufficient contact with society. He also brings the boy home, names him begins with an arduous effort, and Victor.
