Zombie at 17

Apart from being involved in a hit-and-run that resulted in the death of her older sister, Tia Scott,17, has led a rather ordinary life. After she begins to exhibit peculiar symptoms, she realizes she has been infected with a virus that is slowly converting her into a walking zombie. Flynn, a recluse at school who claims to be an expert in all things paranormal, is the only person she can trust in her desperate search for a solution. However, when a friend of Tia's boyfriend, Connor, is murdered, her situation becomes even worse. Tia is aware that Connor's friend Jason is involved, but reporting it to the authorities makes her a target. With time running out before Tia is too sick to recover, she enlists the assistance of her mother Kate and a reclusive doctor in the hopes that they can stop the disease before Jason discovers she is the snitch.
