American Dreams
American Dreams is a American television Play program broadcast over the NBC television network, produced by A Frog and Dick Clark Productions in association with Universal Network Television and NBC Studios. Jonathan Prince created the show and developed by Josh Goldstein and Prince. The latter was also one of the executive manufacturers with Dick Clark. It debuted on September 29, 2002. The series is set mostly in Philadelphia. It initially aired at 8:00 pm , but moved to the identical period on Wednesdays from March 9, 2005, to the next season finale. The series tells the story of the Pryor family of Philadelphia throughout the mid-1960s. Season one occurs at 1963--64, season two at 1964--65, and season three at 1965--66. The series had been understood as Our Generation as it debuted in Australia it was shifted back to American Dreams as it came back to the next season.
The theme song"Generation" was written and played with Emerson Hart, lead singer of this group Tonic. The song earned Hart an ASCAP award for Best Theme Song of Video in 2003. The series was that the 2003 TV Land Awards"Future Vintage" winner.
