Empty Nest
Empty-nest is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from 1988 to 1995. Founder and manufacturer Susan Harris made as a spinoff of The Golden Girls the show. Empty Nest was one of the season's top ten programs. It was created by Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions in association with Touchstone Television.
The series concept introduced some parts from the comedy show Father, Dear Father, additionally featuring a dad coping together with dog and his two daughters. But unlike that series, the two daughters in Nest are adults that are self-supporting, and also also the character is a widower.
Empty-nest was part of NBC's Saturday night block also throughout its first 4 seasons it aired at 9:30pm ET, directly after The Golden Girls.
The two of those cast were alumni from one of Susan Harris' earlier shows, Soap. Mulligan was the Father in Law at Soap of Manoff.
