Get a Life
Receive a Life is really a television sitcom which was broadcast from September 23, 1990, to March 8, 1992. The show stars Chris Elliott being a paperboy. Peterson lived in an apartment above his parents' garage. The opening credits portray Chris Peterson delivering papers on his motorcycle to the show's theme song,"Stand" by R.E.M.
The show turned into a generation of Adam Resnick Elliott and also writer/director David Mirkin. Mirkin was of the show and directed all of these episodes. Notable writers of the show comprised screenwriter of Being John Malkovich, Charlie Kaufman. And Bob Odenkirk, co-creator of both Mr. Show with Bob and David and Tenacious D.
The show was unusual to get a primetime sitcom, and many times the episodes' storylines were surreal. As an instance, Elliott's character actually dies in twelve episodes. The reasons for death included falling from an airplane, strangulation, being crushed by a boulder era, tonsillitis gunshot wounds, getting run over by automobiles, sipping on cereal, and simply bursting. It had been challenging for Elliott and also Mirkin to find the show on the atmosphere. Many of the executives at the Fox Network hated the show and also thought that Elliott's personality was mad and that it was too upsetting.
