How to Buy a Friend
A typical teenager, Park Chan-Hong is currently enrolled in high school. Writing is one of his strengths, although his parents are always on him about doing well in school. Park Chan-Hong doesn't have any concrete goals or aspirations in life. He is good friends with Eom Se-Yoon, who goes to the same high school that he does. She has a lot of friends at school. During this time, Heo Don-Hyeok is a fellow student of Park Chan- Hong's. Heo Don-Hyeok has no desire to further his education, therefore he keeps a job to cover his bills and expenses. At some point, Heo Don-Hyeok defends Park Chan-Hong against a bully at school. Heo Don-Hyeok requests a loan of 300,000 won (about $270 USD) from Park Chan-Hong so that he may pay his rent. He borrows the money from Park Chan-Hong, but that cash was intended to cover the tuition price at the private institute that he attends. After school, Park Chan-Hong is currently without a destination to go to. He gets to know Heo Don-Hyeok better as time goes on.
