Little Women
Little Women is a 1981 Japanese animated television show adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. Kazuya Miyazaki directs the show and produced by Toei Animation for its Kokusai Eigasha business.
The show was produced to a TV special based on Alcott's book the previous year by exactly the cartoon studio. Even the TV series personality layouts differ slightly from people of the TV special. Jo, as an example, while she's blonde in both variants, has curly haired hair rather than straight hair in the TV series.
This string is occasionally confused with Nippon Animation's 1987 World Masterpiece Theater TV series founded on Small Women, Ai no Wakakusa Monogatari, as both show were dubbed in English and broadcast on U.S. satellite tv from the 1980s. In addition, both TV series share a voice celebrity: Keiko Han, who plays with Beth inside this TV show, was cast in the 1987 series as Meg.
