Maggie and the Ferocious Beast

Maggie and the Ferocious Beast is a Canadian animated TV series based on Michael Paraskevas and his mother Betty's books. In the show, five-year-old Maggie draws a map of her fantasy realm, Nowhere Land, that leads nowhere. She thinks they're friends. Mouse, cow, and rabbit companions appear in the show. An unnamed musician wrote "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast in Nowhere Land," the show's theme song. Jamie Whitney and Stuart Shankly direct Maggie and the Ferocious Beast for Nelvana. The 2000-2003 series debuted and ended. Nelvana distributed the show. In the UK, the show was dubbed using British voice performers, replacing the original American soundtrack. The Teletoon Original Production premiered on August26, 2000. Maggie and the Ferocious Beast ran on Nick Jr. from July15,2000, through October30,2010, but no US network has carried it since.
