Monster Squad
Monster Squad is a television show that aired on NBC from 1976-1977 that is irrelevant to this movie of the same name.
The show stars Fred Grandy as Walt, a criminology student employed as a night watchman at"Fred's Wax Museum". To pass the time, Walt assembled a prototype"Crime Computer" hidden in a large stone sarcophagus near an exhibit of legendary monsters. After Walt plugged into his computer,"oscillating vibrations" brought to life the wax figurines of Dracula, the wolf man who here was appointed"Bruce W. Wolf", and Frankenstein's Monster who was known for"Frank N. Stein" in the credits.
The monsters, desiring to compensate to its misdeeds in the pasts, became super-hero crimefighters who used their abilities to battle and conquer different super villains. In the majority of episodes, Walt will ship out the monsters to explore crimes and fight the villains while monitoring those activities from the wax-museum via the Crime Computer because his job required him to be at the wax museum whatsoever times. But, Walt would join the climactic battle along with his comrades in some episodes and come to the rescue if required.
