Tatau

Tatau follows two twenty-something friends from London that place off to travel the entire world, Budgie and Kyle. In front of this journey, Kyle gets a Maori-style tattoo to observe their destination: the Cook Islands. Kyle discovers the dead body of a girl, Aumea, when diving in a lagoon. Kyle discovers her corpse has disappeared. But Kyle knows what he watched. Desperate to locate what happened, Kyle and Budgie end up sucked deeper and deeper into a world of Maori myths, logos, and hallucinatory visions... until finally the complete meaning of Kyle's tattoo has been disclosed.
