The City
The City can be an American reality television show which originally aired on MTV before July 1 3, 2010 from December 29, 2008. Developed while this Hills' spinoff, the show aired two seasons and focused on the lives of young women living in New York City. Adam DiVello conceived its premise, while Liz Gateley served as the executive producer.
The show focused as she began job with Diane von Fürstenberg on Whitney Port, that appeared in its predecessor. It placed Port's boy friend Jay Lyon increased exposure of her workplace rival Olivia Palermo, his room mate Adam Senn, along with her friend Erin Lucas. The latter three were replaced by Port's room mate Roxy Olin and the enemy Erin Kaplan of Palermo for the second half the very first season.
The town received reviews by critics, and also was less powerful compared to the Hills. Like its predecessor, the show was criticized for seeming to fabricate much of its own narrative, and tending towards a storyline format seen in literary genres including soap operas. All seasons have been distributed by the series to DVD.
