The Hakkenden
The Hakkenden is an OVA show by AIC in two sequences, the second largest Shinsh?. Shin Hakkenden, A TV series sequel, headquartered in 1999. The anime is based on the epic publication Nans? Satomi Hakkenden written by Kyokutei Bakin during the latter half of the Edo Period. At 106 volumes, the publication conveys the distinction of being the longest publication in timeless Japanese literature.
The Hakkenden is known for its distinctive way of animation, switching between different visual styles throughout the whole period of this collection. Furthermore, the show has been noted because of its use of representational imagery and topics, allowing the show to straddle the line between animation and art.
It's also known for introducing a perspective to a literary classic, yet as morally ambiguous concepts like devotion and feudal loyalty are closely scrutinized and reexamined throughout a number of the battles in the narrative. The"THE" at the front of the name isn't, in actuality, a bible of translation, but an actual part of the name written in English, perhaps preferred by the string' authors to intentionally communicate that sense of modernity.
