The New Avengers

The New Avengers is a British secret agent fantasy adventure tv show produced throughout 1977 and 1976. Series manufacturers Albert Fennell and Brian Clemens is actually a sequel to the 1960s series, The Avengers and designed it. The series has been found in 120 nations, cost # 125,000 a week to create Pinewood Studios in England and was created by The Avengers Enterprises Ltd for the ITV system. A combined United Kingdom-France-Canada manufacturing, the series picks up the experiences of John Steed because he and his team of"Avengers" fight evil plots and world domination. Whereas in the first series Steed had always been partnered with a woman, in the newest series he had two partners: Mike Gambit, a top broker, crack marksman and trained British artist, and Purdey, a former trainee together with The Royal Ballet who was simply an amalgam of many of their most useful talents from Steed's female partners in The Avengers.
